Why are games only hated by people who don't understand videogames?
Its obvious they don't like videogames because videogame technology is advancing a lot so violence is more detailed than a little dot bouncing across a screen, but they don't like modern and realistic blood and gore but what they don't realise is that videogames are as popular as movies and they are now a major part of modern entertainment.
Why videogames are blamed for violent events

What really annoys me is that these crybabies have never touched a controller before never mind playing violent videogames so they make up these stories such as call of duty is a killing simulation but it isn't it's a game for entertainment and also its about war so there it is and its not for no reason there is a story for each mission like gather intel, retrieve the nuke something like that I'm saying that videogames are sort of a form of art and they bring in more money and sales then the entire film industry so if they were so bad then how come over 100 million copies of call of duty games have been sold so they should think about that sometime.

Why games with these ratings are always abused by parents and other videogame haters for causing violent events like when I search on google call of duty news and see that the guy that did the connecticut school shooting played call of duty in the basement of his house. Now loads of people are blaming violent videogames for causing this but it isn't the games that are to blame but crazy or mental people who don't know the difference between killing a character in a game and killing a real human in the real world. I've played call of duty, battlefield, resident evil, grand theft auto, mass effect, dead ,fallout you name about any shooter but I haven't started going around shooting people. Well I get annoyed when I'm losing a match, getting killed by campers and n00bs but I won't go and shoot a load of people just because of something in a game. Killing enemies in games might not be nice but it's fun and also blood and gore isn't really so bad your're on the good side killing bad guys but even in grand theft auto you never have to kill innocent people. Videogames are not mindless and about just pointlessly killing but they have stories in them some like mass effect and grand theft auto are good.
